There are 30 artists registered for the art show Oct 15 - 16, 2010. We are looking at a wonderful volume and variety of artwork that will showcase our beautiful little corner of the world! Now is the time for us to get organized so we can give you all the quality of exposure you deserve. Due to the great number of participants, artwork is limited to 5 pieces from each artist. We are asking for your help. Please provide us this information before Sept 10th.1.How many artworks are you entering.2.What medium you are working in.3.Titles, sizes and price of work if applicable.4.Explanation on how work pertains to Eastend.5.Provide an Artist statement and bio.6.Please bring any business cards or brochures that you may have to be available to the public during the Art show weekend.7.Please note, If you are not able to be at the show but your art is: you are responsible for any costs(shipping and handling, etc) in getting your artwork to us, and you are responsible for any costs etc, for the return of your artwork back to you after the show. Please let us know so we can make arrangements with you.8.You are responsible for insuring your artwork.9.EAC will not be paying any fee to the artists showing their work at the Juried art show or to any artists who's work is chosen for the traveling art show.10.Work can be taken home after the show Saturday Oct 16th 2010.Pieces that have been chosen for the traveling art show will remain in Eastend and with the show for approx. 1yr.11.Artwork chosen during the Adjudication process will travel approx.1 yr to galleries in a 2 hour driving radius of Eastend.12.If you would like to donate an item for the fund-raising bag draw at our juried art show, we would much appreciate it. This is strictly voluntary. 13.We need your artwork by Monday Oct 11th 2010.You can ship to one of the addresses – see below. If you are shipping your work, please insure your work appropriately. Purolator courier delivers to the Eastend Post Office.14.Will you be attending the show? If yes, both days or just one and which one.15.You are welcome to sell your work to the public but work must be given to the buyer after the show Saturday night Oct 16.There will be no %commission taken by the EAC for work sold and all monies and arrangements must be made by the artist. Regarding chosen artwork for the traveling art show that has a buyer - artwork must stay with the art show until it has completed its tour. Friday Oct 15th 2010 7pm – 10pm Artist reception – Wine and Cheese Artists and significant others Eastend Arts Council members and significant others. Times slots will be available for individual art critique.Saturday Oct 16th Time TBA Time slots for individual critiquing, Public workshop on the adjudication process and art show open to the public. 6pm – 10:30pm Coffee House Fund-raiser for the Juried Art Show Desserts, fancy coffees, musical entertainment during and music jam after bag draw. $20/person, artists participating in show are compt.
